43 Kitchen London
About the Project

We are thrilled to have collaborated with 43 Kitchen, assisting them with branding design, interior renovation and project management, and kitchen equipment procurement, etc.
Our support helped them successfully open their doors and establish themselves as one of London’s popular Sichuan restaurants.

We started with brand development, helping Chuanpu establish its identity, including logo design and overall brand culture, seamlessly integrated into the store’s interior design.

We combined the essence of a traditional Sichuan restaurant with a bar-style counter, creating a unique bar corner within the space.
Within the deep red walls, we incorporated bamboo elements to highlight the cultural essence of Sichuan, where bamboo is a distinctive and symbolic feature of the region.

We combined natural wood tones with vintage lighting fixtures, complemented by deep red walls and layered lighting. This design creates a nostalgic ambiance while maintaining a sense of warmth and vibrancy.
In the design, we extensively incorporated the deep red color of Sichuan’s Wuhou Shrine walls, creating a rich and authentic atmosphere. To further enhance the Sichuan identity, we integrated iconic regional elements such as pandas, adding distinctive cultural touches to the space.

The combination of red and green is a distinctive visual feature of Sichuan’s traditional architecture, evoking a timeless and nostalgic charm.

Another cultural element from Sichuan is opera mask art, which we incorporated multiple times throughout the brand’s visual identity and interior design, reinforcing both the brand concept and cultural authenticity.
Notably, both restrooms feature bold, modern colors and acrylic washbasins, adding a striking contrast to the overall design. This choice brings a fresh, contemporary touch, making the space feel exceptionally clean and visually refreshing.

The grand opening took place around Christmas, and the image showcases the official opening poster.

Notably, in this project, we not only designed and managed the entire renovation for Chuanpu but also helped establish their brand identity, including logo and visual system development. At CASA, we advocate for the integration of spatial design and brand value.
Our approach begins with the brand’s essence, drawing from cultural and distinctive elements to create a cohesive space that aligns seamlessly with the brand’s identity and vision.

At CASA, we believe that great design isn’t just about aesthetics—it’s about creating space that feel effortlessly comfortable, thoughtfully tailored, and deeply loved.
